I am a big fan of Laurel K. Hamilton. I have read all of the Anita Blake series up to Narcissus in Chains. Starting getting bored in the middle of that one so I am taking a break. I've experimented with a couple books. Currently reading three. The Davinci Code, some Iris Johansan book, and the first book in the Merry Gentry series.
I have also recently discovered Kim Harrison. I read Dead Witch Walking and I'm hooked. Once I'm finished what I am reading, Harrison is next on the agenda.
Anyone else fans, or have any good recommendations for me? I love to read but I don't know much about books/authors.

I too am a fan of Hamilton. I have read all of the Anita Blake series up to "Cerulean Sins" and all of the Merry Gentry series up to "A Caress of Twilight". Both are very good storylines. I know there is at least one new book in each of the storylines, but I haven't purchased them yet.
I am also a fan of Jeanne Kalogridis. I have read the following from her; "Covenant with the Vampire", "Children of the Vampire", and "Lord of the Vampires". I haven't looked to see if she has written any others, as I found Hamilton's works and it took a long time to get through all of her books.
I guess about the only other writer I have been into lately is Ann Coulter.

I haven't heard of Jeanne Kalogridis. I'll have to check her out.
OH! I almost forgot of a couple other good ones. They are a bit of a departure from the others, but two of my favorite books none the less. Mairelon the Magician and The Magicians Ward. You can often find these two books in one volume called Magic and Malice. I'm not sure of your taste. I know some people I have recommended it to have found it slow. Just a different kind of read I suppose. And it's lacking in eroticism, but I'd still recommend them to anyone.

I'll look into those two.
