So, I am taking fangirls advice and creating a new thread.

I was very happy with the ending of the book. Fangirl was right about the Horcrux, and I was right about who dies.

Can't believe I called it.....Yay me !

Anyway, I thought the book itself was great. It was a lot of fun very fast paced and very dark. I would have never called Voldemort taking over the Ministry or Harry going on the run.

I loved how it turned dark right off the bat, with the death of Mad-eye and Harry being chased. I liked every turn the book had, and I loved that it was suspenseful and twisted.

All in all, I am going to re-read this one a few more times before I put the series to bed. I think that it was a lot of fun.

Those are my thoughts.

Oh, and BTW a lot more people died than she claimed to have died.....I mean she killed off half the cast.

Edit - And snape being good....I knew it. I love it. I don't think I would have been able to stomach anything else. SNAPE FOREVER!

I think Dobby's death was the worst for me. I never saw that coming.

It was a good book. I guess she couldn't completely kill him off since it's a kids book, but she did strike him down so he could return more powerful. Why does that sound familar?

I can see why should couldn't continue the sotry. How boring would that be? I wish we found out what career paths they chose though. I'm guessing not working for Gringotts. :)

Yeah, I knew Lupin was going to die....I just had a feeling. I figured that Tonks would go as well.

Dobby was a tough one...Snape and Fred were both tear jerkers for me. When Snape said " Look at me..." grabbed Harry and died. I almost lost it.

I have to think that Harry and Jenny are both Auror's. Same with Ron and Hermione.

Best books I have ever read. I seriously cried like a little school girl in the last few chapters. I've always been a fan of Snape and I've always known he was great guy. I need a new series of books to read... but i know none of them will be as good as the Potter's. I already miss it.

I cried a little when he went into the forest with all of his dead friends and relatives.

I never trusted Snape at all until she revealed that he was good. Then my world just totally got flipped around. I kept thinking, what a poor bastard to have to go through all of that. James Potter was a prick! I gotta admit the ending surprised me though. I thought Harry was a horcrux, but I also thought that they both would die at the same time. Guess Fanny's right about why she couldn't kill him completely though.

HARRY POTTER IS A WIZARD!!!

I don't know why, but the above reminds me of 'Wait. There's a guy on our team dressed like a pirate?'

...Why I'm sharing this, I do not know...

I think I'm going to bawl so hard when this movie is up on the big screen and Snape dies. I think I'll cry worse than I did during Episode I.

I don't think I've been the same since I heard the news. I even cried when discussing it with my co-worker.

The shitty acting got to me too.

I thought that it was definitely better than the last 3 and my favorite next to Prisoner of Azkaban. It did seem a tad unnecessary to kill that many characters though. And the 19 years later part left me with a few questions. Also, the Ron and Hermione romance thing doesn't quite sit right with me. Just doesn't fell proper like Harry and Ginny do.
