One More shite more like

For anyone who doesnt know, Marvel has fucked up again.
Our friend Scotty Tipton will explain for me;
http://www.comics101.com/comics101//?mode=project&action=view&project=Comics%20101&chapter=161

Worst... decision... ever.

I don't know what Quesada is smoking these days but if he wanted to break Peter and MJ up... then fine, do it. But jesus christ do it like a man.
Snapping your fingers and completely fucking up the timeline with MAGIC... grow some balls.
Tip describes it best when he says that they turned Spidey into the worst kind of Momma's-boy.

Sorry if this has turned into a rant, but I'm finding it increasingly difficult to read any stories from my favourite characters at Marvel.
They seem hell bent on ruining everything.

I'm finding it very hard not to stick with Vertigo/Dark Horse these days.

Yeah, thats a kick in the balls. Did a lot of fans have a problem with the MJ marriage, or was it just Quesada?

I thought Avi Arad was in charge of all things Marvel, or am I five years behind again?

Quesada is running things these days.
Avi, not so much, although I still think he's around.

I don't know of anyone who had a problem with MJ. And like I said, even if they did, theres better ways of getting rid of her.
This whole "deal with the devil" scenario is both a cop-out and just plain bad story-telling.
It makes Spidey sound like a spoiled brat and one who doesnt give a shit about his wife.
Pretty lame if you ask me.

I doubt that story will last; after a years run or so, they'll make another money spinning big event and reverse it all with a flick of Mephisto's magic fingers.

Aaron

Well apparently they're all Skrulls anyway.
That's this years big thing.
I'm sure all the shit of the last year or two will be turned around with that.

Marvel is overlapping too much with the crossover shite. If I am following everything correctly

Iron Man is the security of defense, and in charge of The Initiative, The Avengers, illuminati, and Registration Act. Also he boinked She Hulk, and then took away her powers. Also he wears his Armour 24/7 it looks like

Spiderman is on the run from the Law, everyone knows his ID, his Aunt may is still alive (? I though she died years ago) and now his Wife is no longer his wife because he made a deal with the Devil. Also Spiderman is part of some off shoot of the Avengers

Cap's Dead

There are no More Muntants. But there are, just a few

Hawkeye Dead Alive?

Hulk came back, and took over New York, but I dont know what happened to that but he might have turned Red?

House of M didnt do anything

Wolverine is part of every Super Team ever and a Skrull maybe.

This is why I read the ultimate Marvel line, cleaner better stories.

I think they could have done half the stories and fleshed them out

Theres an article up at the Quickstop (http://www.quickstopentertainment.com/2008/01/21/comics-in-context-210-divorce-marvel-style/), if you haven't seen it already.

Agreed.
Hawkeye is alive and with Spiderman and some others in their R.A. rebellion.
House of M caused the lack of mutants so you cant really say it did nothing.
And Hulk is currently is stasis underground, he's being kept there by Stark. This red hulk is somebody new (most likely Rick Jones)

Quesada likes to fuck things up, huh.

I just read through this and I'm thoroughly disgusted at the One More Day story. Who gives a fuck about Aunt May? Let the old crone die already, she's old as time's right titty. Talk about reusing storyline... What are they going to do now, have MJ and Peter meet all over again and just start rehashing the whole series all over again?

Quesada, you idiot!

I have a feeling this is one big set-up. Spidey will at some stage realise what's gone on, understand that it's a mistake and let the old bint die.
At least then this would all retain some sort of moral.

Otherwise, yes they're moroons.

We can only assume....
You may be thinking of something from DC's 52 (another crossover that didnt need to happen)

I have stopped reading spiderman because of this, i can understand the retrocon but it was un-needed and awful. They have titles already that appeal to the audience they are trying to reach with this retrocon. More importantly One More Day undermines and abolishes some of the best stories told, for instance, "The Other" which i thought was one of the best written spiderman stories in awhile, and i am really disappointed that they downgraded all of spiderman's powers for instance the organic web shooters. Over all, this was simply just BAD.

Someone told me today that Marvel are changing the Hulk red.

Different Hulk. Banner is in holding and a different Hulk is running around, no one knows who it is. Besides, it happened about a month ago, get your tenses straight.

get your tenses straight.

From my point of view, obviously, I thought they were.

You will find that many things depend on your point of view.

Whoa! It was all nice and easy-going in here.

(Does the Hulk bring that out in people?)

What's not easy going about a Star Wars quote? It was from a fucking JEDI.

Now, now, let’s not fight among ourselves.
