i'm guessing there has been a thread about this but i don't really care...whats your favorite palahniuk book? i just got done reading stranger than fiction and it was pretty good, but my favorite so far is definitely Choke. His books are all so crazy and they go to levels that you would never expect them to go to.

Maybe next time, do some searching. You continue to start threads that have already been done.

because i said "ass"? i think im friendly, i just don't see the point of looking up an old thread to post a comment on it that no one would probably see

As soon as you post it bumps the thread to the top. As for not seeming friendly, we have tried to steer you to the etiquette of this board and you are dismissing us. Therefore you are not being polite or nice to us.

Actually, in my experience on this board, people seem to pay attention to older threads (this could be because the newest posts go straight to the top of their pages).
Plus its just good forum etiquette to look for already existing threads so that the boards don't get clogged up with unnecessary junk.

I think maybe it's the condescending attitude...

Blah, I for one am okay with multiple threads on the same topic, if it's been awhile.
Also I find that alot of times people will go back over the old posts, find something they wrote and rehash it to death.

It's helps to reinforce the fact that if I wanted to taste the goodness that is a 100% pure ground beef cooked to order, fresh lettuce tomato and onions and some salty good fries ASAP, I still wouldn't get any until... midnight. :(
But thanks for tryin' :)

Heh, thats funny, the first thing I did when I got back into Texas was hit up a whataburger.
Mmmmmmmmmm....Gravy on French Fries....mmmmmmmmm...actual gravy not that brown stuff from up north....
Then I went and got a shit-ton of tacos.
I'm thinking about seeing "Choke" today at the theater. Maybe I'll sneak in a Bacon Cheese Whataburger

And while we're on the subject of Texas delights...anybody else wish there were HEB's outside of South Texas?

I think the HEB's may be owned by the same company that owns the Sack-n-Save near UNT.
If your looking for Pinatas, pan-bread, goat-heads and Cow-tongue they've got em.

What you can't see through the internets is the smoking crater where I laid a mushroom cloud half the size of Texas.
I guess that can be theraputic. ;)

Unfortunately, Sack-n-Save is owned by a different company. The closest thing we have up here to HEB is Central Market, which is owned by HEB. Kind of like a Whole Foods for those not from Texas...they're nice but expensive...
