this is a novel i am working on,ill post part 2,depending on what you people think of it
EDIT:i wrote the plot before underworld came out,so dont think i based this of underworld.....THEY STOLE MY IDEA!!!!!!! :P
it may seem underworldish, but once the plot actualy starts,you will realise its nothing like underworld
In the northern part of the forest of darkness,two race's fight a war that has lasted 50 years,the aristocratic Vampires and the feral but noble Were-wolves.Neither side remember how the war started,a broken promise?,an insult?a lie?no one knows what started their animosity to each other,but the attacks are occurring more often and more vicious each time.And unless the war is stopped many innocents will be killed,but there are rumours,of dark folk,Ninja's and bounty hunters,things are getting stranger by the day in the forest.
"Where has she gone"! shouted Lycus the Alpha-male of the Were-wolves.
"s-s-sire she just disappeared "said the cowering werewolf.
Lycus sat down on his mighty throne made from the bones of dragons."Fetch Sevarim" he barked.
The pup yelped and ran towards a archway.
Lycus sighed a heavy sigh.
"Why must she always run off, these are troubled times"Lycus said to himself.
A human entered the chamber,he wore a dark robe and covered his face.In his hand was the wolfs dissmemberd head.
"Was that neccasary Sevarim?"
Sevarim looked at the king and smiled.The head turned to ashes in his hand.Sevarim kneeled before the noble king.
"Today,the Vampires attacked our newly constructed western base,there is no way they could of found out were we where,I fear there is a spy among us" he announced.
"Sevarim,step forward"
Sevarim knelt before the king.
"What would you have me do milord"
"Find out who is informing the Vampires where our bases are,and kill them without mercy"
"Well sir,if I may be bold sir,I propose a plan that will turn the tide of this war"
"Hmm explain" said Lycus,interested
"I suggest we send four of our best assassins to the castle of the Vampire and kidnap his daughter"
There was arguments and shouting from the council.
Not many Were-wolves trusted Sevarim,maybe it was his hypnotic,pupiless eyes or the way he smiled evily.No one trusted him except Lycus.
"Carry on" said Lycus
"Without the Vampire princess,there will be no heir once we kill the Vampire lord"
Lycus smiled "It shall be done"
Sevarim smiled menacingly as if a plan had succeeded.
Lycus set the plan in to motion,and sent Sevarim back to his room.
Sevarim arrived at his door and uttered something in a unknown tongue.The door opened into a room full of bubbling potions and Arcane books.On a desk near the window was a dark red crystal.
Sevarim walked over to the crystal and spoke into it, a face appeared in the crystal
"Phase 2 has begun" said Sevarim
"Good,now for my part" said a sinister voice from the crystal
Sevarim smiled evily.
In the Vampire castle a meeting was being held in a grand hall.
Bats hung from the ceiling while the Vampire lord Gothrim sat in a grand chair.His daughter,Suke sat in a small highly decorated throne next to him.Suke was a young girl with long blond hair and ocean blue eyes,she smiled gently but it turned to a frown when a man entered the room.It was the kings adviser Zakanthorax.Zakanthorax stepped forward
"What news do you have for me Zakanthorax?"
Zakanthorax wore a dark blue cloak and had pure white long hair.
He spoke with a snake like hiss .
"Well milord my information of the western Were-wolf base proved correct"
"Good" said Gothrim drinking a goblet of blood "Suke my dear"he continued" please return to thou chambers,me and my adviser have...private matters to discuss"
Suke left the meeting and went to her room,her blonde hair shining in the moonlight.She went in to her room and got dressed, out her window she saw the guest's leaving the grand hall.She decided to go out for a bit.
Suke stood near the window, and looked at the shining crescent moon.
Wings sprouted from her back and she jumped out the window.
She flew through the air gracefully. Some Bats came to join her, she saw a light on in one of the castles forbidden rooms.
"Whats that?" she asked herself,as she got closer the Bats started to retreat.
Through the window Suke could see Zakanthorax talking to a blue crystal.
she could see in the crystal a face,she hid and spied on them
"Good,now for my part" said Zakanthorax.
The face smiled
"I will "persuade"Gothrim to send his best assassins to kill Lycus but what of Felicity"?
"Let me deal with her"
"One more thing,has the artifact in Entrasia been excavated yet?"
asked Zakanthorax.
"No,not yet, Kaiser is making sure that know one from the outside find out what it is and the war"
"After Suke is gone,I will kill that oaf of a king and."he paused for a second, his pricked as if sensing danger..."I know your spying on me" he turned to see Suke
Before Suke could react Zakanthorax grabbed
a staff that shot out a strange darkness.Suke got hit by the blast and plummeted to the ground.she managed to recover before landing and avoided injury.
But suddenly something attacked Suke from the sky,it was a Were-wolf.
She tried to scream for help but the werewolf covered her mouth.she tried to bite him but he wore a iron gauntlet.
3 more werewolves arrived and knocked her out.They led her out of the castle using a series of make shift tunnels that led into the forest.
For many hours they walked.Soon they stopped,one of the werewolves sniffed the air,
"Shes here?" said the werewolf,he seemed anxious to get back home.
Suddenly a young girl with crazy purple hair jumped down from a near by tree
"Boo!" she said playfully she wore loose leather Armour and her clothes had cuts in it on her hand was some blood.
"Princess Felicity! what are you doing out here in the forest,and why are you not in your true form.you are practically naked!" barked the Werewolf
"Why is there blood on you,mistress" asked another sounding concerned,
"Silly pup,Im in human form so HE cant smell me"
"Who?" asked the werewolf
Felicity pointed behind him
"Him"
Before he could turn around a strange creature jumped towards him
"WHAT THE HELL! KILL IT,KILL IT"
The savagly creature slaughtered the were-wolves.
Suke picked up a sword from one of the bodies and began to run away.
and Felicity chased after her.
"Hey wait for me" she shouted after her,playfully.
The creature was to busy devouring the assassins to notice the girls had gone.
Suke came to a cliff face she jumped off it and started to fly.Felicity tried to stop herself but it was too late.
Felicity plummeted to the ground, the last thing she saw was a figure flying towards her then nothing.
When Felicity woke up she was bandaged up,her eyes was bandaged as well.There was a lit fire nearby.
She sat up.
"Your awake I see" Felicity turned and saw the girl from earlier she too had cuts everywhere.
"What happened?" she asked.
"You fell from the cliff"
Felicity looked puzzled
"How did I survive"?
"I saw you was falling...so I saved you,but you were heavier than I though and we landed in a tree..."
Suke replied nervously.
"But why...we are mortal enemy's....you could of just left me to my fate" she said coldly
"Because...I couldn't just let you die"
"You got hurt because of me"
Suke didn't reply to her,she simply stared at the ground wishing she was home.
"I could kill you right now little vampire..you know that right"
Felicity said taking out her claws.
