I know. I have seen the video of her in the closet with her band. Very cute little song, I just figured, ask and see what you folks say, then do the research. I am lazy that way.

Cabin Fever 79: Horrorthon

To celebrate the spooky season, Brian gives us a run down of all the different flicks he caught during the recent scary film festival in Dublin. while Aaron listens intently and admits he doesn't really like horror films. Pretentiousness follows.

I think people often do read a bit too much into films. Star Wars, for instance, is not a film about a young boy's journey into manhood. It is blatant terrorist propaganda that aims to garner sympathy for the perpetrators of criminal acts of violence against representative government by coloring them as heroic freedom fighters. Jedi? Jihad? Do I have to spell it out for you?

The allegedly peace-loving Jedi knights were an elite group of blood thirsty self-proclaimed prophets. Peace loving my foot! Remember gentle Ben Kenobi in the cantina? Those guys were calling Luke out, rightfully so, for being a pussy and Kenobi goes postal on them for no reason! He could've mind tricked them into thinking Luke was cool, but no - nothing short of amputation would satisfy Kenobi's blood lust. The only way the Jedi know how to accomplish anything is by force.

Awesome choice of closing song. Possibly my favourite Pixies track.

Uriah hit the crapper, the crapper,
Uriah hit the crapper, the crapper,
Uriah hit the crapper, the crapper,
DEAD!

Cabin Fever Commentary: FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF

Cabin Fever's Aaron Poole and Brian Fitzpatrick take a slightly skewed look at FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF, and ask the important questions such as "Was Ferris a Crip or Blood?" and "what's the deal with Jeanie Bueller?".

Cameron's doing a Thurston Howell III impression when he's impersonating Sloane's father. It's a generic New England rich guy voice.
