One of my favorite albums ever and it's awesome that you're digging it. If you haven't already, you should acquire Broken, The Downward Spiral and The Fragile plus all of their respective remix disks. All of it awesome.

I have a strong love for them as well. I had a chance to see them live once but completely blew it. Stupid ass mistakes we make in life, right?

I have F♯A♯∞ and Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven on cd, sadly the rest I have in mp3 form. Never really got into vinyl, I guess owning a turntable would help.

Currently listening to:

Skinny Puppy - Brap: Back and Forth, Series 3 & 4

I have unfortunately not seen them live either. My only hope is that one day the collective decides to resurrect the project and tour again; or at the very least put out another record.

f#a#∞ is hands down my favorite record of theirs...I was lucky enough to track down one of the second vinyl pressings of the record when the packaging was all still hand done by the band (with all the cool inserts including a penny crushed by the trains that run behind Hotel2Tango...)

Currently listening to...

Disintegration - The Cure

Doom, In Full Bloom - Death Valley High

I actually had no idea I was quoting you twice. And you've got Sagan as your avatar AND you quote him in your signature. "We are star stuff harvesting starlight". I think this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

ANYSHOE, NIN, there's nothing better than The Fragile Left. La Mer? Aw man, gets me every time. And what may be seen as a controversial statement, no cover beats Reznor's Hurt. Period.

Also, Godspeed is the music I paint to.

Just bought this:

soley on the back of his remix of Justice's Phantom Part II. Haven't given it a proper listen yet, but will do so tonight. S'gonna be great.

Just a friendly edit...no hard feelings...

I had a ton of friends who thought that Johnny Cash had written that song when he released that music video right before he died...

You have impeccable taste my friend, so good I'll forgive you for thinking Trent was covering Mr. Cash.

It's nice to actually be able to legally acquire something.

When did he make such a claim? I think he meant no cover beats Reznor's original.

This is gonna run and run. Like peanut butter Crunchy vs Smooth vs Larry Flynt.

Anyway, someone needs to make a stand.

Crunchy > Smooth
Original Hurt > the other one

I totally misread what he meant there, I stand corrected and extend my apologies.

No worries. I felt obliged to throw in my two cents since the beautiful bastard got me drunker than a poet on payday on Saturday night.

Hell, I like him and he's never even splashed a beer in my direction.

To all, no worries. We iz cool 'n' shit. Furthermore, I listened to the Black Holes and Revelations albumn today. Seriously, a load of wank. With the exception of a pretty cool rolling riff during Knights of Cydonia. Other than that, wank.
