I hate Casper Van Dien

This guy couldn't act his way out of a corner. He's worse than Freddie Prinze Jr!

I am often amused by what some people say is bad acting... or who they say is a bad actor. Like, the people who (for whatever reason) hate Titanic, say that DiCaprio is a bad actor. Why? Because they don't like Titanic. No other reason.

Or the people who say that that Neo fellow is a bad actor... why? No clue. I actually think he does a good job in most of his movies that have nothing to do with vampires.

Bad actors are people who go on SNL, who have never acted before, and sound like they are reading from the card. Acting is as much about the eyes, face, and body movements as it is in the voice. A bad actor can't put all his parts together to make the audience believe that he or she is the character. A bad actor is someone who makes you think he is playing himself and not the character.

You know, Al Pacino.

I think anyone who says Jack is a bad actor needs to see Aviator or Gilbert Grape. Leo is a powerful actor, and his looks are just a bonus feature. He is VERY good at what he does.

No, I've had a good time making fun of DiCaprio in the past for various reasons but he's proven himself to be a very good actor. The fact that he's in a movie doesn't ruin it for me like it might for some people.

I used to hate him because he took Ewan's role in The Beach. Then I realized that The Beach was destined to disappoint me regardless.

Leonardo is a great actor. Just because he is cute, sexy, has a nice ass doesn't mean I can't see the quality of his work.

I love him in 'Catch Me If You Can' and he was wonderful in a movie called 'Total Eclipse.'

Well, that all depends. Was he a fan of the biting social and political satire implicit in the subtext of the film, or just into seeing bare boobies and giant bugs go ka-blooey? If it was the former there was no way you could have know. If it was the latter... yeah.

Actually, he was into the message of it. You know, how you should never say die. In other words, he took it literally. Let's be brave and fight the monsters! The real debate lies in who exhibited the greater degree of stupidity: him for believing that or me for staying with him- I guess love doth make fools of us all!

Um okay, so what if he's not a good actor, he seems to get alot of work. I've seen Starship Troopers. I liked it. (no accounting for taste, obviously!) Of course, how many of those other movies have you seen? I had barely even heard of any of them. He's not in the A list movies. Why all the hate? Are you a rival actor, and he keeps beating you out of "choice" roles? Life sucks. Wear a helmet!
