Last time on "This Movie Ain't Gonna Shoot Itself..."

Chance struggled feverishly against time and sleep to finish the "premiere cut" of HIDE AND CREEP. Did he do it? Well... yes and no.

We got what I'm calling the "safety copy" turned in to the fest guys, but I know it can be better. So, I'm gonna tweak on it until they make me turn a final version in, which will probably be next Tuesday or Wednesday.

I just wanted to take a minute away from working on HIDE AND CREEP to (1) apologize for not getting the other special effects article done this week and (2) remind everybody that HIDE AND CREEP will screen for the first time next Thursday -- 8 pm, September 23 at Sloss Furnaces, right here in Birmingham, Alabama. It's part of the much-loved Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival, and I encourage anyone in the neighborhood to stop by and check it all out.
